His Late Repentance

The Story

Eliza stands before Julian, her face pale with desperation, as she begs him to donate blood to save their son Leo from blood cancer. The boy suffers gravely, and time is running out. Julian, still wounded by her abrupt departure seven years ago, subjects her to bitter suspicion and emotional torment. He refuses to believe her pleas, convinced she abandoned him after a car accident without a trace. However, the past holds dark secrets that neither knew. Eliza was gravely ill back then and left on purpose to protect them. A paternity test had been secretly tampered with, hiding the truth for years. When the evidence finally surfaces, Leo is revealed to be Julian’s biological son. The revelation shatters Julian’s anger, but Eliza’s own health is failing. Her days are numbered, and the weight of the past crushes them both in the present moment.
