His Mate Or His Step Sister

The Story

Hazel Bonfire faces a brutal choice when the Soul Keepers cast her into the treacherous Woods Of Abyss. Every five months, two shifters must hunt together, fending off beasts and scavenging for food while adhering to a deadly rule. They must mate before time expires or face elimination. Her designated partner is none other than her step-brother, Ashton Rider. Thrown into this perilous forest, they rely on each other for survival, shelter, and warmth. Ashton knows his true mate watches their every move. Each act of betrayal required by the hunt destroys a piece of him. Hazel despises the lack of choice and the pain it inflicts on everyone involved. Most of all, she hates the growing feelings for Ashton that threaten to permanently shatter the relationship they once shared. The brutal reality of the hunt forces them to navigate danger and desire simultaneously, with no escape from the rules imposed by the ruthless creatures ruling their world.
