Home by the Taco Truck

The Story

Gruff taco vendor Joe watches in horror as drug-addicted parents plan to sell their neglected daughters to human traffickers. He spends his entire savings to rescue the girls, posing as a buyer to get them away from their abusers. The young sisters remain terrified, convinced Joe is another cruel stranger. He clumsily works to earn their trust by providing warm meals, shelter, and quiet protection. Later, he teams up with police officer Moira to lure out and dismantle the trafficking ring. The group faces custody audits, malicious online rumors, and public prejudice. This ragtag found family fights hard against these obstacles. They heal old wounds and overcome countless hardships. They finally build a sincere, loving home without blood ties.
