Homegirls Before Husbands

The Story

Ella and Leah tie the knot with brothers Charles and Noah, binding their lives to the Harper family. Three years into these marriages, tragedy strikes when Charles’s ex-lover Megan traps Ella inside a burning room. Ella pleads for Charles’s rescue, yet he dismisses her cries, claiming his attention is needed elsewhere. In a moment of sheer desperation, Leah bursts in to pull Ella to safety. The survivor then begs Noah to save her and their unborn child, but he answers with cruel mockery instead of aid. Years of enduring miserable unions finally shatter under the weight of this betrayal. The two women realize their husbands have never truly valued them. United by their shared pain and profound disillusionment, Ella and Leah stop waiting for apologies. They take decisive action against the men who failed them. The best friends join forces to dismantle their broken marriages. They proceed to file for divorce from the Harper brothers, choosing liberation over continued suffering.
