I Danced, and His Empire Fell
The Story
Sophia Valentí performs a haunting dance in a red dress at Vito Malafi’s birthday ball, but the performance conceals a lethal trap. For ten years, she survived as Lea, Vito’s captive dancer, while secretly studying toxic botany and medical chemistry. Hidden within her costume is an odorless airborne neurotoxin designed to target Vito’s inner circle. As she moves, the poison disperses, causing all of Vito’s core murderous capos to collapse instantly. Sophia confronts the shocked mafia don, exposing her true identity and his bloody crimes. Alessandro, Vito’s loyal enforcer, learns that his boss killed his sister years earlier. He turns his gun against Vito. FBI raids arrive shortly after the chaos. Sophia strikes a witness immunity deal and escapes the mafia cage. She starts a brand new free life by the sea alongside Alessandro.
