I Fought on the Border, But My Fiancée Wed Another at Our Wedding

The Story

Duke returns from a three-year top-secret mission, wearing his decorated Marine Corps uniform and preparing to marry his fiancée. He is a First-Class Merit Recipient, yet he walks into his own wedding to find Emily exchanging vows with his younger brother, Charles. The couple has torn his military uniform to pieces, treating the relics of fallen service members as objects of their greed. They have also forged official documents and embezzled benefits intended for the families of martyrs. Duke stands in the room as the reality of their betrayal sinks in, having just completed his service only to discover that the people he trusted have stolen his honor and his future.
