I Got Rich and Said No

The Story

Zia Sheen returns home after years away, having built a successful life and career. She immediately helps her parents and Third Uncle, who once sold his oxen to support her education. Zia even hires Jalen Sheen for a position in her company. However, she firmly refuses to provide financial support to Uncle Shawn. This decision stands in stark contrast to how her father once emptied his own savings to assist Shawn in the past. Zia’s actions highlight a clear shift in family dynamics and personal boundaries. She maintains a polite demeanor while enforcing these new limits, creating a distinct separation between those who supported her and those who did not.
