If Only You Were Mine

The Story

Brandon, a brilliant yet introverted undergraduate in the small college town of Cedarbrook, quietly harbors a deep secret crush on his best friend Sarah. While he is often overlooked for his quiet demeanor, he remains the steadfast support system for Sarah, a lively and outgoing young woman who is the complete opposite of his reserved nature. Their unbreakable bond faces a severe trial when Sarah becomes trapped in a toxic and abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Mark. Despite Brandon’s urgent pleas for her to leave, Sarah remains blinded by her feelings for Mark, causing Brandon to swallow his own heartache while vowing to protect her. He continues to put her needs before his own, standing by her side through the escalating danger. The situation reaches a critical point when a final, violent altercation between Sarah and Mark lands her in the hospital, leaving Brandon as the only person present to care for her in her most vulnerable moment.
