Immortal Body vs. Possession

The Story

Jiang Yu hides his true identity in the Sunset Mountains, battling monsters to strengthen himself after leaving the Hongwu Sect. His path leads him to an ancient ruin where he uses his immortal body to survive deadly trials. He claims a magnificent reward, unaware that the site serves as the resting place of a fallen ancient immortal. This spirit seeks a highly talented host for possession, but Jiang Yu’s undying nature makes the attempt impossible. The confrontation ends with Jiang Yu subduing the ancient immortal. In a bizarre twist of fate, he seals the spirit’s soul inside the body of a dog.
