Sect Master Scarlett Quinn banishes Supreme Dao Patriarch Hugh Shaw after Rowan Blake frames him with the Demon-Quelling Flute. Demon Queen Umbra then aligns the seven stars, unleashing a Demon Beast and the Demon Clan on Mount Tushan. Fox Empress Snow Townsend later names Hugh her master. Rowan is exposed, Umbra is slain, and Scarlett is deposed. Hugh remains to guard Mount Tushan.
