Judgment at 30,000 Feet
The Story
Captain Arthur Vance faces a terrifying dilemma when a thunderstorm forces him to request an emergency landing, only to discover that the air traffic controller is his ex-wife, the woman he abandoned at the altar five years prior. She refuses to clear any runways, holding the lives of 327 passengers hostage. Her demand is brutal: he must confess his betrayal over the cabin public address system and slap himself a hundred times. With only eight minutes of fuel remaining in the tanks, Vance navigates the plane through the chaos, managing to land everyone safely despite her malicious obstruction.
