Karma Raised Me Better

The Story

Celeste Whitmore wakes up a year before her life crumbles, the betrayal by her own family still fresh in her memory. She rejects the people who abandoned her for another and walks into a world that never claimed her before. There, she is cherished beyond measure. The ones who cast her aside now watch her rise in someone else's name. Celeste moves forward with this new life, leaving the past behind. The people who hurt her observe her success from the outside, unable to reach her. She remains in this new existence, defined by the care she receives rather than the blood ties she once bled for.
