Love Across a Millennium

The Story

Jiang Zhenyi steps out of the ancient Liang Dynasty into modern Shanghai, where she catches the eye of elite Sheng Chuxu. Despite his disbelief in her origins, he repeatedly wounds her with his toxic, playboy behavior and infidelity. Witnessing his true nature, she resolves to return home during a solar eclipse. Sheng dismisses her plan as a desperate ploy, convinced her obsession makes leaving impossible. When she suddenly vanishes, his certainty shatters. A near-fatal car crash throws Sheng back to the Liang Dynasty, trapping him in the body of Jiang Zhenyi’s fiancé, Gu Qibai. Assuming Gu’s identity, he struggles to control the vessel while trying to locate and win back the woman he lost. Meanwhile, Jiang Zhenyi begins to sense that something is deeply wrong with her supposed fiancé.
