Madam Ex-Commander: The Ace Surrenders

The Story

Retired Air Force flight commander Fela lands a civilian ground controller position at Summit Air, only to face immediate dismissal from her peers who view her as an untested newbie. Her harshest critic is Eric Foster, the airline’s arrogant and record-breaking ace pilot. He remains dead certain that Fela will crack under pressure the moment high-stakes, life-or-death demands hit her shift. The workplace tension escalates as the new controller navigates a team that refuses to acknowledge her decorated military background. Eric’s confidence in her impending failure stands in sharp contrast to her proven track record, setting the stage for a clash between military discipline and civilian arrogance.
