Making Romance Great Again
The Story
Nia Kang dies from overwork and wakes up as a trainee Revenant Slayer in a supernatural world. Sent to Northwood High to detect resentful energy, she faces a critical failure when her equipment explodes and her communication device cuts out. Tia Larkin from The Warden's Bureau intentionally delays backup, hoping to let the Revenants kill Nia to secure her own promotion. Trapped on campus, Nia hides in the top-floor music room while ghostly students pursue her. She learns about two tragic spirits: Julian Locke, who jumped after bullying, and Caleb Gordon, who was poisoned for exposing secrets. As Nia mocks the cliché setup, a piano begins to play. She swoons over the musician, only to realize he has no feet and is Julian himself. His anger triggers a dark aura, and bloody hands erupt from the walls. On the brink of death, Nia’s intense will to survive and infatuation energy forcibly bind her to a Romance Strategy System. Time freezes, averting the immediate crisis.
