Marked by the merman I once tamed

The Story

Skyla, a half-elf beast tamer suffering from Frost Syndrome, receives a dire command from Saintess Seraphine to tame the merman prince. Despite their initial enmity, a deep romantic bond forms between them. The prince possesses two distinct souls, the gentle Lucien and the cold Dorian, who are both drawn to Skyla. To preserve his life, she executes a calculated betrayal, driving him into a tormenting cycle of love and hate. Upon his return, the dual souls and Skyla engage in an intense emotional struggle. Injuries force them to confront their pasts, allowing them to redeem one another and shatter the constraints of fate. Together, they dismantle the Holy Court’s authority and secure a permanent state of peace.
