The Story

Grant vanishes on the day they marry, leaving his bride alone. She later operates on a gunshot victim and discovers it is him. Bitterness drives them to divorce, yet fate forces them into proximity. He shields her from a knife and rescues her from a drugged gala, leading to a shared night. Only afterward does he learn she is his ex-wife. Vanessa, the widow of his late comrade, schemes against them. The truth finally surfaces, bringing the former couple back together.
