Mask Off

The Story

Nova Reyes balances a life of academic poverty with a secret identity as Vesper, a masked competitor vying for the final spot on the Vanguard. Her insufferable teaching assistant, Cole Sterling, is her best friend's brother and the golden boy everyone expects to win by birthright. Unbeknownst to Nova, Cole competes under the mask of Raze, making him the rival she secretly pursues while despising him in daylight. Neither character realizes the person they cannot stand is the one they are falling for. As missions draw them closer and the truth becomes harder to conceal, Nova faces a critical choice. She must decide if securing the seat that could save her family is worth losing the only person who has ever seen her, whether masked or not. The dynamic between their public animosity and private attraction intensifies as the competition reaches its peak.
