Melody of a Broken Bond

The Story

Abandoned as an infant, Elsa Scott finds a home with Jacob, who raises her from a life on the streets. Her extraordinary musical talent eventually secures her a spot at Longland’s top music academy, but she halts her dreams to fund Jacob’s medical treatment. To cover these costs, she joins David Mace’s entertainment agency and climbs to international stardom as a singer. When she decides to leave the industry, David betrays her by reneging on his promise to pay for Jacob’s care. He uses her career as leverage to maintain control, manipulating the situation to drive a wedge between the pair. David portrays Jacob as ungrateful and greedy, isolating Elsa from the man who raised her.
