Men compete, I choose freedom

The Story

A plump mother of three faces public humiliation when her husband abandons her for his childhood sweetheart. The situation escalates until she is framed and dies, allowing the powerful Empress Lao Dao from the past to inhabit her body. Accustomed to authority, the new occupant refuses to submit to her former life. She sheds the weight, transforms her appearance, and slaps back at her arrogant ex-husband and his mistress. Her dramatic change shocks the man, who suddenly regrets his actions and begins chasing her. Other suitors join the pursuit, competing for her attention. Lao Dao rejects all romantic advances, choosing instead to build her own empire. She lives an elegant, free life, completely detached from the men who once controlled her fate.
