The Story

Alpha Kyle rips apart his wife Alison’s collar in front of the entire clan, branding her a traitor and collaborator. That night, he claims her sister Lena as his destined partner. Exiled from her territory, Alison walks barefoot into the snowy plain. Deep in the mist, Colin offers his hand, the only one who does not question her past. She resumes her old trade outside the border, setting defensive lines, burying runes, and carving thorns. Meanwhile, Kyle discovers cracks in the evidence against her. Drug residues, wax marks, and silver nails on boot soles all point to a single culprit. When the Black Horn army invades, Alison returns alone to the front line. She blocks the entire force using her buried backup defense line. She wins. After confirming her safety, the person handing the torch turns and walks into the morning light.
