My Assassin Can't Kill

The Story

Lynn Frost navigates a deadly harem by taking imperial orders with deadly literalness. When the Empress commands that Seraphina Sullivan’s head must blossom, Lynn fills her hair with peonies. Later, told not to let her see tomorrow’s sun, she provides medicine for three days of sleep. The Empress demands an explanation for these odd actions. Lynn responds with the concept of literal execution. She uses modern thinking to defuse murderous intent. This approach prevents her from offending the powerful or harming the innocent. She continues to navigate the palace through these precise interpretations.
