My Crybaby Assassin

The Story

Lucien Cross, a legendary assassin with a perfect record, faces his greatest challenge when Milo Hart, a sharp-tongued pastry chef, accidentally becomes the sole witness to his latest assignment. Instead of eliminating the fearless and stubborn witness, Lucien abandons his deadly organization to protect the only person unimpressed by his lethal reputation. Former allies hunt the pair across the city, forcing Lucien to conceal his violent history behind the facade of a quiet flower shop. Milo constantly drags him into ordinary life with baked goods, heated arguments, and relentless affection. Every gunfight is immediately followed by a stern lecture, and every near-death escape somehow concludes with another date. The secret organization known as The Chapel ultimately targets Milo, compelling Lucien to choose between the ruthless killer they created or the husband Milo believes he can be. Surviving bullets proves easy, but enduring Milo’s scolding remains the truly impossible mission for the world’s deadliest assassin.
