The Story

Joyce uproots her life with her child to base housing, only to discover her husband Nathan growing close to neighbor Savannah. At a military fair, Nathan publicly denies being Florie’s father to protect Savannah’s son’s feelings, allowing the crowd to insult their daughter. The harsh rejection leaves Florie physically ill from the emotional distress. Witnessing this betrayal, Joyce’s heart breaks completely, and she resolves that she will never forgive him.
