My Mechanic, My Perfect Fit

The Story

Callan, a composed tailor accustomed to control, finds himself vulnerable when his water fails and he must knock on his new neighbor’s door. Knox, a quiet auto shop owner, lets him in, and that initial glance alters their dynamic. Their paths cross through shared showers, elevator meetings, and a broken car, eventually leading to a suit fitting where Callan measures Knox’s shoulders. The intimate moment shifts the air between them, revealing a deep connection. When Vaughn, Callan’s ex, returns, Knox’s jealousy shatters his silence. Callan responds without hesitation, placing a ring on Knox’s finger in front of everyone. The two neighbors transform their living situation from mere proximity to a shared existence, moving from borrowed amenities to a shared key as they build a life together.
