My Son Wanted a New Mom, I Quit: All Episodes

The Story

Laura leaves her marriage after eight years of feeling unloved by a husband whose heart remains with his first love. Her son views her merely as a caretaker rather than a mother. When the husband’s first love returns home for Laura’s birthday, her son wishes that woman could be his mom instead. This moment breaks Laura, prompting her to walk away from the family. She abandons her domestic life to pursue the music career she had set aside eight years prior. Her ex-husband and son later beg her to come back, but the opportunity has passed. Laura refuses to return, having finally chosen her own path over their expectations.
