Never Look Back

The Story

Valentina conceals her identity as the daughter of a mafia godfather while pursuing Ethan, a man from a middle-class background. She finances her own education and secretly boosts his career, but his mother looks down on her and introduces Ethan to Carlotta, an heiress from the Pierce Group. Ethan promises to marry Valentina upon his return, yet he comes back four years later with Carlotta and a child. At his welcome reception, he publicly humiliates her. Valentina vows revenge and severs all business ties. When his family insults her again, her secretary reveals she is a CEO, causing them to grovel. Carlotta’s cousin threatens to shut down her company, claiming his father is a subordinate of the godfather. During a birthday banquet, Ethan’s family humiliates Valentina once more. The godfather then enters the room, exposing her true identity. Ethan and his family beg for mercy, but the mafia executes them.
