The Story

Aurora discovers Alaric draining their pureblood heir for his mistress. She rips out her reverse scale to save the infant. Alaric, deceived by a frame, mistakes her for a thug. He lashes her ninety-nine times and drowns her in the water. The baby shatters, and its soul saves her life. She abandons Alaric and mates with Black Dragon Tairn to rule. Alaric descends into madness, consumed by endless regret over his actions.
