The Story

Gideon Cross, the feared "Court Grim Reaper," defends the powerful for profit. Chase, a wealthy heir, sexually assaults Sophie and attacks Gideon's family while out on bail. The violence causes Gideon's daughter-in-law to miscarry. Gideon refuses Chase's multi-million dollar legal fees. Instead, he fights for the state. Gideon sends Chase to prison.
