No More You In My Days

The Story

Valerie Reed steps away from her powerful role as head of Zenith Group to dedicate seven years to caring for her husband, Calvin Hayes, and their family. She nurses him through a severe illness with tireless devotion, only to face utter betrayal at their son Noah Hayes’s 100-day celebration. Calvin arrives with his mistress, Mia Reed, and their illegitimate son, Jackson Hayes. Backed by his parents, Calvin presents Valerie with a harsh ultimatum. She must either allow Mia to move in and work as a nanny for the Hayes family, or choose divorce and lose her son. The atmosphere shifts from familial warmth to cold confrontation as the truth of Calvin’s actions is laid bare. Valerie stands before the man she served, forced to weigh her dignity against the bond with her child. The household dynamic collapses under the weight of this sudden revelation, leaving Valerie to confront the reality of her sacrifice.
