No Rules for Her

The Story

Nora Vale walks into the territory of Leon Gray, the ruthless King of the Port who controls New York’s underground logistics. She seeks answers about her mother’s death, but Leon sets a rigid thirty-day limit. He forbids publicity, promises, overnight stays, and romance. As days pass, he shatters every rule he established. Their intense connection builds until Nora reveals she is pregnant. Haunted by past trauma and family conspiracies, Leon believes it is a trap. He publicly humiliates her and drives her away. Brokenhearted, Nora disappears from New York. A year later, Leon finds her in a quiet Seattle flower shop. He meets a baby girl who looks exactly like him. Determined to bring them home, Leon faces a new reality. Nora will never take his orders again.
