The Story
King Odysseus returns to Ithaca only to face betrayal, shipwreck, and the total loss of his memory, voice, and face. Queen Penelope rescues him in this broken state, and the mute beggar secretly protects his family from the usurper Antinous. He works to reclaim the island's grain, fleet, and the trust of its people. Through these efforts, Odysseus rediscovers his identity. He must then confront a god-driven war to bring his kingdom home.
