Offside Hearts

The Story

Ava Reed idolized Maya since age fourteen, but signing with the Bay City Sirens shatters that fantasy. When Ava confesses her devotion behind a curtain, the moment dies instantly. Maya, scarred by past betrayals, fears intimacy rooted in transaction. Ava resents being reduced to a younger version of Maya. Professional obligations pull them apart, forcing both to confront their needs. They discover that genuine connection requires owning their individual choices. Through this struggle, they build a relationship based on mutual respect rather than past dynamics. Their path leads to a shared future defined by honesty and equality.
