Plain Girl Pop Diva

The Story

Ivy looks like the most invisible student in her elite private high school, yet she commands a massive online following as Vanessa, a breakout pop sensation. During the day, she blends into the sunlit brick hallways, wearing her navy uniform with a red tie or thrifted plaid shirts and ripped jeans. Her messy double braids and black-framed glasses make her easy to overlook, and no classmate gives her a second glance. Behind closed doors, however, she transforms. In her cozy bedroom, decorated with vines and fairy lights, she records her viral hits. She wears her signature pink cat-ear headphones while creating music that garners over two hundred thousand likes per track. Her two hundred and fifty thousand loyal followers have no idea that the quiet girl in their hallway is the voice behind their favorite songs. This dual life allows her to maintain a normal school experience while building a global career from her personal space.
