Pride Fell For Me

The Story

Tessa Reed faces her former college crush, Nathan Vance, under the weight of his arrogance and her humble status as a contractor. The dynamic mirrors their student days, when Tessa secretly pined for the cold, popular heartthrob who only desired his perfect moonlight girl. As their professional relationship brings them closer, Tessa finds herself falling for him once more. Her hope shatters when Nathan mocks her as a poor girl he could never love. Devastated by his cruelty, Tessa walks away. Panic sets in for the arrogant man, who becomes tearful and chases after her into the rain to beg for her heart.
