The Story

Shane Scott discovers that his father’s death leaves him locked out of a 500,000 yuan inheritance. At Apex Bank, teller Nina Lawson rejects his identity documents because his name does not match his deceased father, James Scott. She demands a paternity test and instructs him to exhume the grave. Shane complies with this grotesque request and returns with a report confirming a 100% match. Despite the definitive proof, Nina continues to deny him access to the funds. Refusing to accept further stonewalling, Shane summons a notary and a group of reporters. He then enters the bank carrying his father’s coffin, forcing a public confrontation with the stubborn employee who initially mocked his grief.
