Queen's Revenge

The Story

Cora, the first golden-tailed mermaid queen, suffers a devastating betrayal when Caden, the freshwater fish spirit she once saved, steals her heart and abandons her for dead. Stripped of her memory and form, she is taken in by Mila’s family, where Mila swaps her own silver-tailed egg for Cora’s golden one. Cora accepts this deception, nurturing Mila’s daughter Sierra with forbidden magic while crafting Lila, an artificial being, to serve as a vessel for her vengeance. At the coronation, she publicly exposes Caden’s fraud and Mila’s treachery. The path to retribution is bloody, as Lila kills the antagonists but perishes in the process. Cora ultimately rejects the throne, choosing instead to roam the seas in search of redemption from the cycle of hatred.
