The Story

Xu Yuan wakes up in the 1980s after her murder in the modern day, carrying the heavy weight of a life lived alone. The Yao family immediately targets her with violent schemes, including attempted assault, forced marriage, poisoning, and smear campaigns about her hygiene. She uses her sharp intellect to dismantle every trap laid before her. Her path leads to an early reunion with a future business partner, and together they focus on helping other women. Their shared goal becomes the restoration of the traditional Weilong House. As they work, hidden family truths surface. Her stepmother is revealed to be her biological sister, and her father, Mr. Yao, is an impostor who usurped the family position. The conflict reaches its peak in a final confrontation where Xu Yuan dies alongside the villains. She eventually returns to the modern era, though the people she influenced during her time in the past remain permanently changed by her brief presence.
