Reborn to Break the Engagement

The Story

Serena Lane wakes up in 1977 with a shocking revelation: her past life ended because her husband, Aidan Gordon, only married her out of duty. Her heart belonged to Maeve Shaw. Now, Aidan suffers from amnesia after a recent injury, while Serena discovers she is seriously ill. To protect herself, she decisively breaks their engagement and enrolls in medical school to fight her disease. Meanwhile, the memoryless Aidan devotes his affection to Maeve. He repeatedly misunderstands Serena's distance, causing her further pain as she tries to stay away from the man who never truly loved her.
