The Story

Jason wakes up in 1983 on the morning of his wedding, having died in 2023 after his wife betrayed him. When his future in-laws demand an extra television to add to the outrageous bride price, he refuses to beg or borrow. Instead, he walks away and cancels the ceremony. Armed with thirty years of restaurant experience from his previous life, he transforms ditch-dwelling crawfish into a culinary craze. He builds a vegetable empire from nothing while confronting corrupt officials, ruthless rivals, and the family that destroyed him. During this journey, he discovers a new love in broadcaster Valerie Stratton. This fresh connection gives him a brand new reason to live as he reclaims his destiny.
