Regret Is the Ultimate Punishment

The Story

Karin’s life shatters when a house fire traps her five-year-old daughter, Anna, in the flames. Mary, a philanthropist, rides with Captain Bob in the fire engine, rushing Anna to the emergency room for urgent surgery. The vehicle collides with Karin’s car as she returns from betraying her husband, Tom, a wealthy lawyer. Instead of moving, Karin demands that the responders beg her and pay compensation, wasting precious minutes. Mary, paramedic Eve, and bystanders desperately try to persuade her to clear the path. Karin remains stubborn and refuses to budge. She stands in the way of the very vehicle attempting to save her own daughter, completely unaware of the truth behind the urgent transport.
