The Story

Twenty-two years after Queen Helena’s death, Lyra returns to the Seven Cities. Once branded a Calamity by her stepmother Mirei and stepfather Garick, who falsified her mark results, the young woman now bears a record-breaking Ten Marks. She exposes the truth at the Ancestor Festival and reunites with her mother. As Garick transforms into a demon, Lyra defeats him. The pair seize the throne, and Lyra is crowned queen.
