Revenge of the Pregnant Merman

The Story

William, a male mer-surrogate, faces betrayal when his wife Iris and her lover Henry frame him for crimes he did not commit. They kill his unborn child and dump his body in a mass grave, leaving him to die. On the verge of death, the Seamother saves him, but survival demands a brutal price. He sacrifices his eyes to gain the ability to see through raw ore. For three years, he trains relentlessly in the abyssal depths. Emerging under the alias Kael, he allies with Baron, the proprietor of the Silver-Scale Palace. At pearl-gambling tables, he systematically wins back the Coral family’s mining rights, blow by blow. The deception unravels during a wedding ceremony, where he exposes the entire web of lies. Iris’s reputation is destroyed, leaving her with absolutely nothing. William turns and walks away, vanishing into the sea.
