Cast out by the Lima Family, Leo awakens a rare beast-taming talent that no creature will acknowledge because of his poverty. His half-brother Fabio and ex-girlfriend Sasha mock him as a loser. In response, Leo activates the Ancestral Ascension System. While other tammers struggle to evolve their companions, Leo takes a common caterpillar and transforms it into the Void Jade Dragon, the ultimate beast of legend.
