Rose & Thorn Oath

The Story

Isabella Ashford stands at the altar during a raging snowstorm, not as the intended bride but as a desperate substitute. Her stepmother forces this arrangement to salvage the family’s reputation after Karina Ashford elopes with her lover, abandoning the wedding to the prestigious Haim dynasty. Isabella is thrust into a marriage with Augustus Haim, the infamous heir of Black Eagle Castle, a man rumored to be ruthless and disfigured. Believing the union will collapse once her deception is exposed, she publicly confesses her true identity. Augustus calmly acknowledges the lie and orders the ceremony to continue. Inside the castle, Isabella assumes she is merely a pawn. In reality, Augustus recognized her from the start and deliberately chose her. This unexpected bond begins to shift, leading to a journey of mutual redemption as they navigate the complexities of their new life together.
