Secret Heir Out of Her Fiancé's League

The Story

Alice conceals her status as the heir to the old-money Winston family while preparing to marry Kevin, the eldest grandson of the new-money Locke family. At a signing dinner for a multi-billion trust fund, Kevin publicly humiliates Alice by throwing a breakup check and proposing to her personal assistant, Chloe, instead. He attempts to drain her resources and arrogantly claims she is only fit to be a hidden mistress. This extreme exploitation ignites Alice’s rage. She slaps Kevin, tears up the check, and puts on the ring symbolizing the Winston family. She then links arms with the dangerous, exiled illegitimate son of the Locke family. Whoever Alice marries will become the next Wall Street king. Kevin faces the prospect of going bankrupt as Alice asserts her true power and identity.
