The Story

May Stone raises her disabled daughter, Jane Lopez, alone while working a delivery job. As Jane approaches her eighteenth birthday, May receives a diagnosis of late-stage liver cancer. Doctors give her only a few months to live. The sudden realization of her impending death forces May to confront a difficult reality. She must figure out how to secure Jane’s future without her protection. Time is running out for the mother to make this final arrangement.
