Silent Billions

The Story

Camillia saves Casper from a suicide attempt, an act that catches the eye of Bert. He hires her to treat his aphasia, a condition that leaves him silent. The talkative therapist deploys every trick in her book to make him speak. She discovers his mutism is a response to emotional abuse from his stepmother Grace and stepbrother Brook following his mother's death. Camillia uses her relentless chatter to break down his defenses. She simultaneously dismantles the schemes of his family. Her persistence eventually forces Casper to speak again. In the process of helping him find his voice, she also finds love.
