The Story

Caroline conceals her true identity as an Alpha while remaining devoted to Andre, even rejecting her fated mate, Lycan King William. The fragile illusion shatters on the night she prepares for a perfect proposal, when Andre arrives with his actual mate. He publicly humiliates her in front of the crowd, dismissing her as nothing more than a temporary hookup. Devastated, she returns to the royal palace and approaches William, the man she once turned away. She resolves to change the groom. When Andre finally realizes his mistake and screams that she was always the one he wanted, William’s claws are already pressed against his throat.
