Stop! The Runaway Groom

The Story

Ivy faces public humiliation when her new husband, Byron, abandons her at the altar. She had stepped in to marry the wealthy heir in exchange for her father's medical bills. Despite the initial betrayal, the couple eventually exchanges vows and signs a strict contract. The most critical rule dictates that neither partner is allowed to fall in love. Byron soon finds this agreement absurd because he has already developed deep romantic feelings for her. He realizes the terms of their marriage no longer reflect his true emotions. The dynamic between them shifts as his affection grows stronger. Ivy remains bound by the initial agreement and the shock of his earlier absence. Their relationship continues to evolve under the weight of these conflicting rules and emerging emotions.
